To help you settle in and connect with peers who are also just getting started, we invite you to an exclusive small-group event designed especially for newcomer postdocs.
Join us on Dec 1, 2025, for our “Get to Know Your University” event series, which takes you to some of the university’s most fascinating and lesser-known places.
This time, we’ll explore the Archaeological Collection of the Department of Classical Archaeology – a true hidden gem in the heart of the University.
What to expect:
- 09:00 – Meet & Greet
- 09:15 – Guided tour through the Archaeological Collection of the Institute of Classical Archaeology
Learn about current research projects and how this space is used in scientific work. - 10:00 – Networking with Christmas cookies and coffee/tea
Get to know fellow newcomers and engage in open conversations – we’ll also be joined by a guest expert for informal exchange.
