Mentoring for Postdocs - The Mentees Edition
June 2, 2025, (online) Zoom
Mentoring can be a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth — especially during the postdoctoral phase. Yet successful mentoring relationships do not just happen; they require proactive engagement and a clear understanding of one's scope for action.
Mentoring for Postdocs – The Mentees Edition invites postdoctoral researchers at the University of Vienna to explore how they can actively shape and benefit from mentoring opportunities. Through a series of parallel sessions, we will present existing programmes, offer practical guidelines, and share inspiring experiences from peers.
The event is designed to support postdocs in identifying suitable mentors, making the most of available resources, and developing skills that strengthen mentoring relationships — whether within academia or beyond.
- When: Monday, 2 June 2025, 10:00–12:00
- Where: Online via Zoom
Join us to discover your options, hear from fellow postdocs, and start building the mentoring relationships that will support your future!
